This past weekend, an 80 year-old grandmother was placed on the wrong flight by Delta. Security checkpoints and airline agents were unaware of the elderly passenger receiving someone else’s boarding pass. She took off from Atlanta and landed in Charlotte, North Carolina instead of Chantilly, Virginia, where her grand daughter was waiting to pick her up.

“We got a phone call at 4:30 from the airport saying, ’Your grandmother was in baggage claim. Where are you guys?’ ” Melika Adem, her granddaughter, told CNN affiliate WUSA 9. “She was crying.” Grandmother and granddaughter were reunited Sunday evening.

TSA and Delta are both under investigation on how Grandmother Yesuf passed security with the wrong flight information. Mistakes happen, but this is not one to be made on a private jet charter!
