Cessna Citation III
The aircraft that elevated the Citation line from light jets to mid-cabin performance. The Citation III introduced a swept-wing design and transcontinental range to the Citation family when it entered service in 1983. Though succeeded by the Citation VI, VII, and the current Longitude platform, the Citation III established Cessna as a serious competitor in the midsize jet market. A small number remain in charter service, offering an affordable midsize option.
